The Hunt For DMPC Versions

Edit: I know this is my first post but I accidentally pressed back space while working on this thread and all of the links simply just vanished.

Let's start of with a quick introduction of what DMPC is. DMPC is short for Digimon PC according to my knowledge and it's a tamagotchi like game where you can raise and battle different players to grow stronger.

My goal for the past few years is to archive every single versions of this game. Though I think that the developer doesn't want to mirror most of the things he would release due to him not earning any exposure and probably income from those mirror, which is completely understandable. I can see it similar to cracking for a non-paid, free to play game.

That said I wouldn't post my archive here but with some exceptions I would gladly share it with you guys, or better yet a much healthier way of getting all of the versions is to go and visit our Discord Channel and check out the download pin right now.  LINK

Let's start with DMPC 1(2009)

which looks like the very first version of DMPC it seems that the OP is Hosc himself.

We know for sure that this version will forever be gone and forgotten let's compare the screen caps from the forum to what we have right now

a few more interesting part of what we have on our copy of DMPC 1 is that, it doesn't have 'Hosc's' name in the credit section when we press 'F1' unlike JoMdz

I think it's safe to say that we will never find Hosc's version since it is a prototype. Unfortunately I've check the profile and there is no contact of him or what so ever so that seems unfortunate for us.

Reporting on DMPC 2.3B (Unofficial version 2.3B and past changes)

  I did mention this on the previous post that I've received an unofficial version of DMPC 1 which had the ff information on the credits:

I know that this will be a hard to find case knowing that it might be a limited editing version of DMPC since it did say that it was a Christmas edition.
The harder part here is that I have no idea what it looks like unlike what I will talk about DMPC PRO Beta later on through this thread. There's nothing much I could search out there that could really help me out with this.

This is the previous version of what we use today, the most stable version of all the other DMPCs. I guess this is a dead hunt and I no longer have to look for this because it is alright to let go. There are no major change that we have to preserve from Version 3.1.3-2 since it is a slightly worse version of what we use now. so I'd officially close the hunt for this file.

Even though that this might be a really version of DMPC it is always nice to keep this since UI and other buttons had been upgraded plus it had an option to change languages. I remember when Jorge released this version on his old blog and caught my attention since we were equipped with Colosseum and has a cool new UI. It is somehow similar to DMPC Pro 1.0.2 but for me it was more exciting to what we have now. New features and the possibility of upgrading your old file to fit the more updated versions of DMPC

The Question that's been running through my head this past few months was "Where the heck is my old hard drive?" I remember having a copy of the game on my old hard drive and it seems that I've misplaced the poor thing. Also searching through the internet was hectic since it just leaves me into a dead end.

I've been thinking about this daily, we do have the same stuff of DMPC but I've got one version that is not on your list.
It's DMPC 3.1.3 - 1 or DMPC 3.1.3.01 basing of the f1 screen.

I can not believe that someone made an archive and managed to still have a copy of the pro demo version. I have managed to crack open some of the 3.1.x but most of them does not run well with Windows 11. Even in you made it compatible with 8, or XP.

The thing with the old files, you do have to use a VM for that if you want to run it. When it comes to beta some of dmpc files can still be updated. Also @trecklerzzz must be inactive for awhile. Not sure if they're receiving notifications right now.
